In 2015, together with my coauthor Vincenzo Galasso, we implemented a large-scale field experiment involving positive and negative canvassing during a mayoral election in a midsize southern Italian town. The experiment was realized in collaboration with one of the mayoral candidates, Armando Lamberti. The experiment originated our paper: “Persuasion and Gender: Experimental Evidence from Two Political Campaigns.” Please visit the following webpage for a precise description of the experimental design.
